Promoting IT security and, more broadly, the digitalisation of businesses is a key priority for the german federal and state governments. Companies based in Bavaria can, for example, benefit from the “Digitalbonus Bayern” funding programme. Among other things, this programme supports AI and robotics innovations in businesses. For small and medium-sized enterprises in North Rhine-Westphalia, it may be worth considering funding under “Mittelstand Innovativ & Digital (MID)”. This programme supports businesses in becoming more resilient to cyber attacks. This can be achieved, for example, through training, the analysis and remediation of vulnerabilities, or support with the initial procurement of hardware and software.
